The Company acts as the Data Controller in this Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

Done Enterprises Ltd (hereinafter the “Service Provider”) processes personal data of the users of our website (“Website”) in connection with our services (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Why we collect data

We collect this information to provide the best possible service to you while you are visiting our site. 

The basis for data collection is the voluntary consent granted to Service Provider now of signing up for the service and accepting the terms and condition and the privacy policy.

The main reasons why we collect and use user data:

• To improve your experience on our website

• To provide the services you sign up for through our website and offer you the most relevant information suitable to you and your interests 

• To carry out marketing analysis and send you communications when we have your permission, or when permitted by law

• For any other purposes for which you have given permission.

The personal data is provided by you when you register for services that we may offer.

First name, last name (or/and organization name) and email address.

We may also ask you to provide in your profile your date of birth, citizenship, country of residence, phone number, address, work affiliation, website, and other personally identifiable items. Providing this information will always be optional for you. However, some services may not be available to you if you choose not to provide it. 

We may automatically collect the analytics data when you visit or interact with the Service. The analytics data may include:

Device Information: including but not limited to device and device identification number, IP address, browser type and version, operating system, country, city. 

Usage Information: including but not limited to time spent on the website, interaction with the website, the URL of the website you visited before and after visiting the website, the time and date of your visits to the website, the pages of the website you visited.

We protect your privacy by ensuring the protection, confidentiality, non-alteration, availability, and security of your personal data which you have given us.

5. Personal data storage

For technical and practical reasons relating to usage, website data may be stored on servers of third-party service providers used by Service Provider.  

Information on the Service Provider website is hosted with Digital Ocean: (hereinafter the “Host”). The Host participates in:

(a) GDPR and European Data Protection laws

(b) the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which is a framework designed by the US and EU in conjunction to provide US companies with a way to be compliant with EU data protection guidelines in GDPR. Our agreement with them protects the information that we collect from any unauthorized use.

6. Who has access to your data?

Within the Data Controller’s organization, the access to your personal data file is restricted so that access to the information and the right to use that information is only vested in those members of the Data Controller, who have such right based on their work assignments. The data processing system is protected by data protection software for the operating system. Access to the system requires that each user of the register enters a user ID and password.

7. Who we may share data with

Aggregated data (not the personally identifiable information) may be shared with third parties such as advertisers or business partners.

Your personally identifiable information such as your email address and name may be shared with third parties when we believe in good faith that we are required to do so by law.

8. How long will we keep your data for?

We will retain your personal data if their account is active, as necessary to provide you with the services or otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy. We will not keep your personal data after you delete your Service Provider’s profile.

9. Links to other websites and services

The Service Provider’s website may include links to other websites or services whose privacy may differ from the Service Provider. When users use a link to an external site or service, the privacy policy and data processing disclosures for that site or service governs over the Service Provider’s.

This Privacy Policy only relates to our site. You should be aware that we are not responsible for the practices of our advertisers or business partners. Our site may contain links to other sites. You should check their privacy policies before providing personally identifiable information to them or any other third party.

10. Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device as you are browsing. They are processed and stored by your web browser. Cookies do not provide us with any personally identifiable information.

When you visit our websites, information pertaining to the browsing history of your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.) on our websites is liable to be saved in “cookie” files stored on your device, depending on the settings you have chosen regarding cookies which you are free to change at any time.

11. Payment Processing 

Payment processing services for interpretation on Understandify are provided by Stripe and are subject to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement, which includes the Stripe Terms of Service (collectively, the “Stripe Services Agreement”). By agreeing to  these terms or continuing to operate as a Done Enterprises Ltd on Understandify, you agree to be bound by the Stripe Services Agreement, as the same may be modified by Stripe from time to time. As a condition of Understandify enabling payment processing services through Stripe, you agree to provide Understandify accurate and complete information about you and your business, and you authorize Understandify to share it and transaction information related to your use of the payment processing services provided by Stripe.

12. Your rights

You will always have the option to opt in certain services and to opt out of those services at any stage.

All users, within the limitations imposed by applicable law, have the following rights:

• To check what data the Service Provider has collected of them.

• To require that any incorrect, useless, incomplete, or outdated information be corrected or removed.

• To prohibit the Service Provider from processing their personal data for the purposes of direct marketing, market research, and opinion polls.

• To request a downloadable copy of their personal data.

• To request deletion of customer account. The Service Provider may retain certain information as required by law, or as necessary for legitimate business purposes.

13. User rights for citizens or residents of the European Economic Area

In addition to section 11 and subject to applicable law, if a user is a citizen or resident of the European Economic Area, they also have the right to: 

• object to the Service Provider’s use of their personal information, and

• lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority or the European Union Information Commissioner’s Office.

15. Applicable law

These terms are based on the laws of Finland. If the terms conflict with domestic legislation, complying with the legislation is in force in that respect. Any disputes shall be settled first and for all by negotiation between the Parties.

The Service Provider shall follow the domestic and international laws of Data Protection, Business secrets and IPR.
