• Service: Refers to the interpretation services facilitated by the App

2 .Use of the App

2.1. The App is designed to connect Users with Interpreters for real-time interpretation services in various languages.

2.2. Users may use the App to request interpretation services and communicate with Interpreters during sessions.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1. Users must provide accurate and truthful information when using the App.

3.2. Users shall not use the App for any illegal, unauthorized, or unethical purposes.

3.3. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and are liable for all activities under their account.

3.4. Users shall not engage in any activity that may disrupt or interfere with the functioning of the App or the Service.

4. Interpreter Responsibilities

4.1. Interpreters shall conduct themselves professionally and provide unbiased interpretation.

4.2. Interpreters shall maintain the confidentiality of all interpreted conversations.

5. Payment

5.1. Users will be charged for interpretation services based on the rates displayed in the App.

5.2. Payment information provided by Users shall be accurate and up-to-date.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. The Company retains all rights to the App, including its design, software, and content.

6.2. Users and Interpreters are prohibited from copying, distributing, modifying, or reverse engineering the App.

7. Privacy

7.1. The Company collects and processes personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, see

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the App or the Service.

9. Termination

9.1. The Company reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to the App without prior notice for violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between you and the Company shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law of Finland and the Company and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Finland.

11. Changes to Terms

11.1. The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users and Interpreters will be notified of any changes.

12. Email, Calls, and SMS Policy

12.1. By using the App, you agree to receive communications from the Company via email, phone calls, and SMS related to your account, the Service, and promotional offers.

12.2. The Company will not share your contact information with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

12.3. You may opt out of receiving promotional communications at any time by following the instructions provided in the communication or by contacting support at support@understandify.com.

12.4. Standard message and data rates may apply for SMS communications. Users are responsible for any charges incurred.
